January 2010
We feel it is going to be an exciting year for The Street Academy Annexe Project! The last two years have been very slow in terms of our progress and we have been frustrated by setbacks. We appreciate your patience whilst we have been trying to make developments and would like to reassure you, our loyal supporters, that the project is still very much alive.
We have received a near-finalised plan from our architect (see building plans) and are collaborating with both ProDesign in Ghana and Article 25, based in London. Once these plans have been finalised we are ready to start work on the construction of the new building. One of our trustees is also travelling out in a few months to take some updated photographs and re-visit the existing school.
Thank you to all those of you who took part in our annual cryptic postal quiz (yes, it'll be back). Congratulations to Mike Mawdsley, our winner, and runners-up Sue Buttle, Matthew Ray and Mike Adams. Amazon vouchers were kindly donated by two of our trustees to ensure maximum profits for the charity. If you're still puzzling over those final few clues, click here to see the answers. We would like to wish you all a very happy 2010 and thank you again for your continued support,
The Trustees
