Let us introduce you to just a few of the Academy's wonderful kids:
This is Daniel Yeboah-Gyimah. He is 12 years old and lives with his Auntie.
He wants to be a doctor when he is older. He enjoys school very much, particularly
Maths, and even works through his break-times!
This is Ruth Nonbi. She is 12 years old and lives with her sister.
She would like to be a nurse. She likes coming to the Street Academy to learn
and enjoys reading.
This is Joshua Anetey-Abbey. He is 10 years old and lives with his grandfather.
He sells tea as a job - he likes books, and doesn't like fighting. Joshua is a member
of the school's table-tennis team. He likes coming to school and especially enjoys
Religious and Moral Education.
This is Hajarah Selama. She is 10 years old and lives with her grandmother.
She sells onions, but wants to be a doctor. Her favourite subject is Maths and she
says she comes to the Academy to "open her mind".
